He was predeceased by: his father Clair Mayhew of Kensington; his parents-in-law, Robert Waite and Mae Waite; his grandparents, Heath, Marion Mayhew, Irene and Arthur Larkin; his brother Larry Mayhew; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Moase, Neil Paynter, Ray Waite, Robert Jr. Waite, Claude Waite, Carl Waite and Darlene.
He is survived by: his parent Jean Mayhew; his wife Sheila Mayhew (Waite); his children, Jodi (Jeff Bernard), Kelsey (Michael Ramsay) and Jordan (Stephanie Mayhew); his grandchildren, Camden, Cali, Harper and Bria; his siblings, Barb Mayhew, Nancy Moase and Ambyr Paynter; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Mayhew, Roberta Cole, Doris Cameron, Lloyd Waite (Cheryl), Hal Waite, Lester Waite (Mary), Noreen Waite, Jane Campbell (Gary), Eldon Waite, Kate MacAndrew (Dave), Doug Waite, Paul Waite and Thane Waite. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Davison Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Family and Friends Restaurant (45 Broadway St N, Kensington, PE C0B0A3).
