It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel G. Thompson (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Wallace and Ruth (Dalzell); his siblings, W. Barry Thompson and Judy Ann Thompson; his father-in-law Elmer DesRoches; and his siblings-in-law, Carl DesRoches and Marie Dion.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Thompson (DesRoches-Duncan); his daughters, Tanya Thompson (Trevor LeClair) and Amanda Thompson; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Konnor, Gabby LeClair, Wyatt Murray and Poppy Vokey; his brothers, Don (Rhonda), Dean (Charlotte), Peter Thompson (Leila) and Rick Dalzell (Helen); his siblings-in-law, Beverley Thompson, Jack DesRoches (Ann), Robert DesRoches (Joanne), David DesRoches, Joseph DesRoches and Stephen DesRoches; his mother-in-law Doris DesRoches; and his stepchildren, Mark Duncan (Ateesha) and Carol Liom. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
