With solemn reverence, we commemorate Chester Gallant (Kensington, Prince Edward Island), born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, whose life came to an end on May 29, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam M. (Manderson); his great grandchild Parker; and his siblings, Frankie, Wilbert, Loretta Murphy, Florence Richard and James.

He is survived by: his children, Peter (Florence) of New London, Brenda Gaudet (Kenny) of Wilmot Valley, Luke (Karen) of New Annan, Mark (Denise) of New Annan, Paul (Farrley) of New Annan and Scott (Bonnie) of Richmond; and his siblings, Emily Murphy, Doris Gallant and Fred Gallant Summerside. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
