He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Champion and Lilly Champion; and his wife Beverley. He is survived by: his close friend Amy Reeves; his children, David (Patricia), Greg, Paula Ramsay (late Douglas), Russell (Beverly) and Thane (Brenda); his grandchildren, Brooke, Mike, Cory, Chad, Melanie, Michael, Tara, Kelsey, Cassidy and Callie; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Owen, Riley, Nora, Lauren and Hayes.
