With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Bernard of Kensington, Prince Edward Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bernard and Marion Bernard (Corbett); his siblings, Evelyn Beverwyk (John), Mrytle Campbell (Eric), Sylvia Bernard and Ralph Bernard; his parents-in-law, Halsey and Charlotte Profitt; and his siblings-in-law, Jessie Cole (Charles), Ruth Hannah (Tom) and Gerald Profitt.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Bernard (Profitt); his children, Eleanor Evans (Brian), Sandra Champion (Willard), Blaine Bernard (Stephanie) and Darlene Weeks (late Paul); his grandchildren, Brittany, Haley, Alex, Bryan, Kodie, Carter, Devon, Kelsey and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Atley, Ellis, Liam, Luca and Abigal; his sister Marcella Cormier (late Paul); and his brother-in-law Clair Profitt (Marion).
