She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Heffel (Reeves) and John Heffel; her husband Ralph Hardy; her siblings, Myrna Clarke, Linus Heffell, Waldron Heffel and Wesley Heffel; and her siblings-in-law, Ferne Heffell, Roma Hardy, Gerald Hardy, Nick Flamminio and Vernon Stetson.
She is survived by: her children, Daryl Hardy (Elaine) of New Haven, Darlene Higgins (Greg) of Picton and Dale Hardy of Kingston, Ontario; her grandchildren, Devin Hardy (Jenna) of Summerside, Lauren Doane (Ben) of Shelburne, NS, Graeme Higgins (Hannah) of Halifax, NS and Brad Higgins (Jenny) of Ottawa, Ontario; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Elise, Isla Hardy of Summerside, Declan and Briar Doane of Shelburne, NS; her sisters, Hazel Stetson and Mary Day (Eric) of Sooke, BC; and her siblings-in-law, Eileen Heffel Taylor, Joyce Heffel, Doris Flamminio, Erma Hardy (Allan MacAusland) and Doug Clarke (Marg). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
