She is survived by: her children, John (Nina) of Georgetown, Susan (Derek Johnson) of Georgetown, Sheila (Wayne Chiasson) of Georgetown and Sharon Stratford (Janelle); her great grandchildren, Landon, Chace Hebert, Maria, Bennett, Nate, Max MacKinnon, Cameron, William, Anna Creed, Oliver, Callie Arsenault and Ivy Hebert; and also Ricky Gallant.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home (40 Wood Islands Rd, Montague, PE C0A1R0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (90 Gordon St, Georgetown, PE C0A1L0).
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made in LaVerne's name to the St. James Parish cemetery fund or the Georgetown Elementary School breakfast club program.
