He was predeceased by: his parents, Redverse Hammill and Eva Hammill (Dawson) of Freetown; his wife Helen (McIssac); and his siblings, Gorden, Preston, Freda, Elaine, Elmer and Edwin.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Natalie) and Preston; his grandchildren, Kailey (Nathan), Cameron and Tayler; his great grandchildren, Alexa, Owen, Daxxen, Huxtley and Cooper; and also, Marilyn Warren, Mary, Angela and Victoria Arsenault.
