She was predeceased by: her parent John Larade; her brother Joseph; her former husband Walter Kowalchuk; and her siblings-in-law, Albert Aucoin, John Ritcey, Rupert Vance, Timothy Kujawa, Walter Kowalchuk, Florence Kowalchuk and Mary Flemming.

She is survived by: her parent Catherine Larade (Aucoin); her son Wally Kowalchuk (Nancy Jenkins); her granddaughter Lexi; and her sisters, Kay Moffat (Ernest), Josey Ritcey, Halifax, Lill Vance, Gloria Kujawa and Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces.
