He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Adams and Etta May Adams; his wife Dolly Blanche Adams; his son Wade Adams; and his siblings, Junior Adams and Lois Adams.

He is survived by: his children, Darrell Adams (Pauline) of Charlottetown, Randy Adams (Janice) of Knutsford, Heather Joy Fraser (Romey) of Alberton, Holly Culleton (Alfred) of Elmsdale and Trudy Adams of Elmsdale; his siblings, Dorothy Butler (Harvey) of Miminegash, Eleanor Yeo (late George) of Alberton, Wilma Payne (Rick) of Alberton, Thelma Blanchard (late Willard) of Summerside, Gerald Adams (Sandra) of Elmsdale and Earl Adams (Pauline) of Elmsdale; and his siblings-in-law, Donald and Marion Williams of Halifax. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren and by his 27 great-grandchildren.
