He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Mildred (MacCormick); his siblings, Lena and Merle; and his nephew B. J. Bowness.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Michael Darrach (Chelsea) and Jalena Deagle; his siblings, Nora Bowness (Brain), Ruby Gallant, Leonard Deagle and Diana Arsenault; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Tuplin (Danny), Williams "Billy" Kerr, Jeannie Trimm, Heather Kerr and Kimmy Kerr-Allen.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel (67 Mosquito Path, Ellerslie, PE C0B1J0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
