He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Welton and Mary Welton (MacLean); and his brother-in-law Jim Farquharson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, L. Robert, Susan Taylor (Aaron) and Mary Anne Donovan (Adam); his siblings, Donna Farquharson (John), Alan (Marja), Steven (Gloria), Judy O'Hanley (David) and Bruce Duck (Sheila); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Anne Donnelly (Terry), Mary Jane Zinck (Dale), Susan Ridlington (Roy), Diane Farquharson and Robert Farquharson (Dianne).
