Irene (Gail) MacLeod Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene (Gail) MacLeod of Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Irene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Irene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her husband Garfield MacLeod; her parents, Catherine (Carver) and Walter (Carver); and her siblings, Elaine (MacPhee) and Wayne (Carver).

She is survived by: her children, Wayne (Indy) and Rachel; her sister Linda (Havenga); her granddaughter Poppy; and also Carol MacAulay.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the PEI Humane Society can be made in Gail's honor.
