He is survived by: his spouse Isabelle MacTavish; his children, Randy MacTavish (Sheryl) and Devena MacTavish; his grandchildren, Chloe MacTavish, Emma MacTavish, Blaze Roberts and Sierra Roberts; his siblings, Vaunda MacDonald (Oliver) and Barry MacTavish (Florence); and his brothers-in-law, Ada Compton, Jack MacLean, Sterling MacLean (Linda) and Irwin MacLean (Dianne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
