He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Newman and Florence Newman (Campbell); his siblings, Wilfred Newman (Victoria) and Eleanor Roberts; his parents-in-law, Omer Neill and Eileen Neill (Younker); and his sister-in-law Sally MacNeill.
He is survived by: his friend Sereita (Neill); his children, Jill MacMillan (Chad) and Jeannie Newman (Bobby Campbell); his siblings, Ralph (Marjorie) and Lloyd (Linda); and his sibling-in-law Robert Roberts.
Memorial donations may be made to Provincial Palliative Care Centre or West River United Church.
