He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Arsenault (MacInnis); his parents, Robert Arsenault and Josephine Arsenault (Gallant); his son Daniel; and his siblings, Gloria, Ian, Ivan, Patsy, Robert and Linda.

He is survived by: his children, Gloria Dennis, Chester Arsenault, Daneen MacDonald (Gerry), Kent Arsenault (Lorraine) and Craig Arsenault; his grandchildren, Sandra Gass (Tim), Douglas Dennis (Rose), Wynter Arsenault (Jerico Lamangan), Michael MacDonald, Nova Arsenault, Jenna Arsenault (Michou Petitpas), Rachel Arsenault (Robert Crewe), Dylan Arsenault, Zachary Arsenault and Anthony Arsenault; his great grandchildren, Jessie, Alex, Avalon, Roch, Danica, Emma, Alexis, Travis and Séverin; and his sibling Gail Butler (Harvey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
