He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy MacDonald and Emily MacDonald (Seller); his siblings, Oliver "Ollie", Borden, Neil, Lomer MacDonald, Dorothy Crosby (Andrew), Sandra Birt and Joyce Richards (Preston); and his brothers-in-law, Heath Crosby, Alger Pollard, Henry Ferguson and Gerry Auld.
He is survived by: his daughter Emily MacDonald; his siblings, Hazel Crosby, Shirley Pollard, Wendell (Heather), Audrey Auld (Eric Ellsworth), Lea (Colleen), Mervin (Debbie), Donna Gorveatt (Kent) and Terry (Gayle); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis MacDonald, Gail MacDonald, Colin Birt and Donna MacDonald.
