He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Howard and Inez Howard (Butler); his siblings, Audrey McKenna (Cyril), Leigh Howard, Desmond Howard (Nadine), Lorne Howard (June), Beverley Howard, Elaine Bulger and Marne Howard; and his brother-in-law Gerry Gillis.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Howard (Elisa) of Woodbridge, ON, Christine O'Neal (Scott) of Sackville, NB and Kelly Sturino (Mario) of Toronto; the mother of his children Lynne Eager (Cullen) of Charlottetown; his grandchildren, Simon, Luke Howard, Aidan, Owen, Hannah, John O'Neal, Patrick, Chloe and Kate Sturino; and his siblings, Shirley O'Brien, Stella Gillis, Dale Howard (Bonnie MacNeill) and Glengarry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
