She was predeceased by: her husbands, Mervyn MacInnis and Frank Shanahan; her son Brian Shanahan (June); her siblings, Yvonne Leslie, Mark and Clarence Arsenault; and her grandson Tyler Shanahan.

She is survived by: her children, Carol MacAulay (David), Frank Shanahan (Donalda), Linda McNeil (Doug), Paul Shanahan (Sally), John Shanahan (Margaret), Melanie Cox (Gordie), Margaret Dykerman (Ron), Maureen Wheatly (Ross), Melissa MacInnis (Aka), Murray MacInnis (Tanya), Megan (Dylan) and Mullally; and her niece Patricia MacKay. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer (3 Pond St, Charlottetown, PE C1A2N9).

If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Pat and the Elephant.
