He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald MacFadyen and Annie MacFadyen; his siblings, Melbourne MacFadyen (Eleanor), Malcolm "Red" MacFadyen, Elmer "Homer" MacFadyen and Shirley Flanagan; and his brothers-in-law, Ricky Flanagan, Leaman Morrow and Roy MacInnis.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son Jeremy (Megan); his grandchildren, Gordon (Shelley), Heather, David (Lisa), Alex (Kylie), Abbey (Kyle), Alyssa and Jack MacFadyen; his great grandchild Haven MacFadyen; his siblings, Kaye Morrow, Thelma MacInnis and Archie MacFadyen (Diane); his siblings-in-law, Randy Flanagan (Tracey), Pam Flanagan, Judy MacFadyen and Jean MacFadyen; his nephew Donald MacFadyen; his niece Erin MacFadyen; his close friend Baxter; his children, Gordie, Heather and David; and also Kaye.
