He was predeceased by: his parents, Nakaad Taweel and Badia Taweel; his siblings, James Taweel, Mel Taweel and Amelia Jabbour; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Jabbour, George Ghiz, Elmer Beck, Diane Taweel and Ruth MacKay; his niece Linda Jabbour; and his nephew Donnie Taweel.
He is survived by: his wife Vera (Beck). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
