He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Carruthers and Helen Carruthers of Charlottetown. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Alteen); his daughter Lisa Puccia (Joe) of Whitby, ON; his grandson Logan; his brothers, Barry (Pam) and Hugh (Fumiko); and his brothers-in-law, Fred (June), George (Vera Lynn), Paul and John (Anna Marie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
