He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sherren and Rita Sherren; his son Wayne Sherren; and his brothers, Ray Sherren and Donnie Sherren.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie P. Sherren; his children, Ronald Sherren (Dorothy), Douglas Sherren (Anne), Debra Gallant (Jeff) and Tracy Sherren (Shawn); his grandchildren, Jordan, Sara, Timmy (Cora), David, Tyler (Natalie), Kyle (Sydney), Aimee (Dalen) and Avery; his great grandchildren, Lara, Cameron, Lucy, Posie, Parker and Beau; and his siblings, Elsie Molyneaux, June Newrick and Tom Sherren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
