He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Margaret Gillespie (MacKinnon); his parents, Frank Gillespie and Louise Gillespie (Hobbs); his brothers, William and Howard; and his great grandchild Dana.
He is survived by: his children, Ron (Diane), Debbie, Ewen (Mary Ellen), Sandy (Eldon Brehaut), Susan (Marty Denham), Kevin (Dawn) and Eugene. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
