She was predeceased by: her spouse H. W. Platts (Bill); her parents, Wilfred Furness and Mary Furness; her brothers, Russ (Isabell) and Lloyd (Kay); and also John (Kathy).

She is survived by: her children, Doug (Donna), Sue Platts of New Dominion, PE and David Platts; and also, Ralph (Kathy), Gordon (Sharon), Don (Jean), Sheila Furness and David Furness.
