Leonard McQuillan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard McQuillan (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe McQuillan and Gertie McQuillan; his siblings, Patricia, Frank, William and Kenny; his siblings-in-law, Carl Bertram, Myrna Aylward, Sue, Angie, Jane, Marion Aylward and Ralph Watts; his daughter-in-law Carol McQuillan; and his grandson Merrick McQuillan.
He is survived by: his wife Irma; his children, Myrna LeClair (Jeff), Patricia Daly (Mike), Edward McQuillan (Sandra), Peter McQuillan, Michael McQuillan (Marni), Robert McQuillan (Shannon), Darcy McQuillan (Sherry), Angela Gallant (Todd), Cheryl Samu (Boris) and Richard McQuillan (Justine); and his siblings, Freda, Kay, Edwina, Judy, Jim and Fred. He is also survived by in-laws, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many wonderful extended families.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Leonard's memory to the Meadow Unit at Beach Grove Home.
