He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie McDonald; his parents, Aeneas McDonald and Stella Roberts; his brothers, Gerald McDonald and Leonard McDonald; and his stepbrother Leo Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Buddy Longaphie), Lynn, Stephen (Susan), Paul (Dominique Chouinard) and Chris (Pamela Cameron); his grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Jonathan, Jordan, Emily, Rachel, Andrew, Tyler and Lucas; his sister Bernadette MacIntyre; and his stepbrother Lloyd Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, and if so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation.
