In loving memory of Kenneth Alexander Gillis of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who departed this world on June 7, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Wilfred Gillis and Kathleen Gillis (MacAulay); his brothers, Donald, Lorne and Gordon; and his parents-in-law, Launce and Evelyn Shirley.

He is survived by: his wife Grace; his daughters, Kathleen, Karen (Phil), Colleen (Peter), Krista (Paul) and Melanie (Mark); his grandchildren, Christopher, Chantal, Alexander, Matthew, Courtney, Ariana, Olivia, Caleb and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Alaia, Maverick and Thomas; his brothers, David and Wilfred (Bev) of Edmonton; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda of Sydney and Cherie of Dartmouth.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the QEH Foundation or a charity of your choice. Blood donations to Canadian Blood Services also appreciated.
