He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Jay and Bertha Jay (MacDonald); his brother Guy Jay (Verna); and his brother-in-law Gordon Jay. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his siblings, Elwood Jay (Sally) and Iva Jay; and his sister-in-law Betty Jay. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
