John Josiah Howatt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2023, at the age of 91, John Josiah Howatt of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eliphalet Howatt and Annie Lois Howatt (MacGougan); his siblings, Walter, George (Jean Stewart), Lloyd (Betty Evans), Jennie (James Williams), Eileen (Lloyd MacLeod) and Edith (William Long); and his brothers-in-law, Earl and Fred Weeks.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Ruby Howatt (Weeks); his children, Doreen MacPherson (Blaine), Brenda Tremere (Gary), Carol Ann McLaine (William), Kathy Corbett, Douglas Howatt and Heather Delage (Jean-Pierre); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Weeks (Carol) and Marjorie Buchanan. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Jack, if desired, may be made to the Geddy Memorial Cemetery Fund or to the CNIB Guide Dogs Program.
