Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Alexander Currie of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away at the age of 96, on October 23, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Currie and Lousie Currie (Livingstone); his son John Derrill; and his brothers, Frank, Nelson (Ila), Charlie (Mary) and Walter (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Norma (Stretch); and his daughters, Heather Keith (Bill) and Sandra Khan (Adrian). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Park Royal United Church (11 Christie Dr, Charlottetown, PE C1A5W6).
If so desired, donations in memory of John can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Park Royal United Church.
