It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie E. MacFadyen of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on August 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Neil MacFadyen; her parents, Frederick Hansen and Sarah Hansen (Gass); her son Christopher; her daughter-in-law Alana; and her sister Ruth MacKinnon.
She is survived by: her children, Corey MacFadyen, Amanda MacFadyen (Daniel MacKinnon) and Charmayne MacFadyen; her grandchildren, Connor, Kayla, Valicia, Sophie, Zachary, Kane and Jay; her sisters, Joan Smith (Gerry), Ann Mitchel (late Preston) and Brenda Corbett (Donnie); and her brothers-in-law, Ozzie MacKinnon, Lloyd MacFadyen (Alice) and Lester MacFadyen (Lois). She is also survived by sisters-in-law.
Because of her love and dedication to children and families in her community, donations can be made to Anderson House.
