He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paquet and Annie Paquet (McCabe); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Myers-McGuire; his siblings, Paul and Betty MacDonald (late Allan); and his siblings-in-law, Cecil, Judy Myers, Leonard Myers (Isabelle), James Myers, Imelda MacAulay (Harold), Kevin Myers (Shirley) and John Myers (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Anna Vessey (Barry), Shellie MacDonald (Earl), Eric McGuire (Patty), Jim Paquet, Dianne Paquet and Michelle Paquet; his grandchildren, Sherry (Robbie), Sarah, Michael (Jessica), Nicholas, Courtney, Maryanne, Dunovan, Hannah, Ethan, Emma and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Paige and Merrick; his sister Mary Paquet; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Harper (late Jim), Leslie Myers (Margaret), Francis Myers (Brenda) and Valerie Laybolt (Sterling).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Church (106 St Peters Rd #34, Charlottetown, PE C1A5P2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the MS Society or Diabetes Association.
