Jack MacMillan Obituary
It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Jack MacMillan announce his passing at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on September 3, 2024 after a brief illness.
Born November 22, 1961, he was the favourite son of the late Barbara (Howell) and Dr. Ian MacMillan.
Jack was a loving husband to Neno (Boyle) for 38 years, devoted father to his three children, Jacqueline (James Molony), Elizabeth, and Christopher (Natasha Levesque) and the best Grampie to his beloved granddaughter Rory (age 1).
He is also survived by his three sisters Heather MacMillan, Gail Murray (Scott), and Dr. Jane Bondt (Philip); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, “out-laws”, and too many special friends and neighbours to mention. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Jack will be remembered for his sense of humour, his easy way with people and his good hearted nature. He worked for 28 years as a Tim Horton’s franchise owner in Campbellton, NB. He was proud of his work and his contributions to the local community. He was always a true gentleman and one that everyone gravitated towards.
Second to none as a husband, Dad and Grampie. He will be loved and missed forever. Our lives will be forever changed in his absence.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home for visitation on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 2 - 5 p.m. No funeral service by personal request. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Online condolences may be made at http://www.islandowned.ca (http://www.islandowned.ca) and a longer obituary (Jack’s version) will be available online.
For those who wish, donations in his memory can be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or
