She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anderson and Florence Anderson (MacSwain); her brothers, Ken, David, Don and Dr. Robert N. (Marion); her nephew Dr. John Anderson; and her sister-in-law Doris H. Anderson (McCubbin).
She is survived by: her brother Dr. Alan Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Anderson, Ann Anderson and Merrijoy Kelner.
She was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 1982, in recognition of her expertise in celiac disease and her contribution to education and mental health in PEI.
