He was predeceased by: his former wife Sadie Mae Smith (MacDonald); and his parents, Douglas Barton Smith and Vera Margaret Smith (Jenkins). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rattray Smith; his children, Bobbi-Jo (Barry Reilly) and Cyndie (Glenn Warford); his pet Maxi; his grandchildren, Steven Carley (Jenny) and Sadie Grace; his stepgranddaughters, Hailie and Savannah Warford; and his siblings, Penny Moffatt, Wayne (Dail), Dale Hurry (Cecil), Cindy Thistle, Kerry (Sherri), Fred and Shawn.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Cemetery.
