She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Shephard; her parents, Thomas Wedge and Theresa Wedge; her grandson Jesse Gerald Doucette; and her siblings, Arnold, Buster, Aubrey, Florence Flynn, Doreen, Abbott and Howlan.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Doucette (Terry), Geraldine Banks (Sterling) and Donna Joseph (Lloyd); her grandchildren, Ira Banks (Chantelle), Kristen Joseph (Eric) and Kayla Joseph (Brian); her great grandchildren, Cain, Kayden, Presley, Saylor and Brooks; her brother Bill Wedge (Brenda); and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Wedge (late Aubrey), Sybill Wedge (late Howlan) and Nassie Doiron (Eleanor).
