We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Eleanor Ruby Howatt (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Weeks and Ruby Weeks (Sharpe); her husband John "Jack" Howatt; and her siblings, Fred Weeks, Earl, Dot Weeks (Nichol), Marjorie "Marj" (Weeks) and Aubrey Buchanan.
She is survived by: her children, Doreen MacPherson (Blaine), Brenda Tremere (Gary), Carol-Ann McLaine (William), Kathy Corbett, Douglas Howatt and Heather Delage (Jean-Pierre); her brother Robert Weeks (Carol); and her sister-in-law Leah Weeks. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Belvedere Funeral Home (175 Belvedere Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A2Y9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fellowship Will Also.
Donations, if desired and in lieu of flowers, can be sent to the QEH Pediatric / Nursery Departments, or a children's charity of your choice – 'For the Children'. It was Eleanor's express wish that memorial donations be made "For the Children".
