She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar "Eddie" Acorn; her parents, Brinsley Smith and Ruth Smith (Birt); and her siblings, Keir, Allan, Lloyd, Marilyn Gallant, Norma Redmond and Eleanor Younker.
She is survived by: her son Paul (Sandra); her grandchildren, Vanessa Clements (Nick), Nicolle Downey (Chris) and Sonya Vanneste (Lucas); and her siblings, Liona VanWesterneng, Erwin Smith (Judy) and Kevin MacPhee (Wilma). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
