It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Ivy MacKay (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island), who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Newton MacKay; her son Kevin (Shirlene); her granddaughter Erin Knockwood (MacKay); her great grandchildren, Scarlett Ivy Knockwood and Camden James MacMillan; her siblings, Everett Bell (Doris), Don MacDougall and Elinor Ford (Clayton); and her siblings-in-law, Betty, Ginger MacKay (Florence), Alice MacEwen (Clarence) and Tilley Acorn (Duck).
She is survived by: her children, Blair (Dolores), Sonya MacMillan (Jimmy) and Boyd; her grandson-in-law Ricky Knockwood; her sister Eva MacDougall; her sister-in-law Velma Biggar (MacKay); her nieces and nephews, Lena Bell, Lenny, Cathy, Morley and Marie; her friend Ruthie Ford (Cheryl Kelly); and her roommate Catherine Croken.
