He was predeceased by: his son David MacAusland; his parents, Harry MacAusland and Dorothy MacAusland (Thorne); his parents-in-law, Irene and Arthur Dover; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Dover (Evelyn) and Linda Skerry (Leo).
He is survived by: his wife June (Dover); his daughter Donna MacAusland Gass (Philip) of Clyde River, PE; his grandchildren, Brittany and Blake; his siblings, Ardell Gaudet (late Wilf), Judy MacAusland, Sandra Fry (Glen) and John MacAusland (Luanne); and his sister-in-law Lillian MacAusland (late Frank).
