He was predeceased by: his parents, Allison MacLaren and Louise MacLaren; and his siblings, George and Maureen Richards. He is survived by: his wife Dianne MacLaren; his children, Annette MacKinnon (Wade), Robbie (Dawn), Rhonda Dollar and Lori MacLaren (Donnie Donovan); his nephew Gary MacLaren (Joanne); his grandchildren, Jennifer Hambly (Nathan), Darren MacKinnon, Stephen MacLaren, Charlie MacLaren, Jordan Hennebury and Brodie Hennebury; his great grandchildren, Lilith Sampson and Ellen Sentner; and his brothers, Roger MacLaren (Helen) and Clifford MacLaren (Walena). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
