She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Smith and Mary Smith (Aylward); her siblings, Marjorie MacMillan, Noreen Gallant (Walter), Janet Smith and Louis Smith; and her godmother Josie Robison.
She is survived by: her spouse Thomas P. Starr; her children, Edward MacDonald (Carlee), Douglas MacDonald (Sylvette) and Michelle Doiron (Jim); her grandchildren, Hannah, Samuel, Issac Pelkey-MacDonald, Devon, Olivia MacDonald, Madison and Lindsey Doiron; her great grandchild Easton Perreault; and her siblings, Rita Shaw, Harold Smith (Annita), Billy Smith (Janice) and Stella Trottier (Lou).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (3 Pond St, Charlottetown, PE C1A2N9).
