She was predeceased by: her parents, Brent Gillis and Maude Gillis (MacAulay); her siblings, Bernadette Spicer, Richard, Daniel and Dolph Gillis; her nephew Jeffrey Gillis; and her brothers-in-law, Robin Curran, Charley Greene and Tom Spicer.

She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Patricia and Ada Gillis. She is also survived by her siblings: Sister.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home (35 Longworth Ave, Charlottetown, PE C1A5A3). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Pius X Church (106 St Peters Rd, Charlottetown, PE C1A5P2).
