He was predeceased by: his son Daryl Aiken; his parents, Robert Aiken and Alice Aiken of Stanchel, PEI.; and his father-in-law Hector MacNevin. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Aiken; his children, Jamie (Kelley) of Cornwall, Peter (Michelle) of Charlottetown and Alison Gaudet (Peter) of Cornwall; his daughter-in-law Vanessa Wade-Aiken of Mississauga; his mother-in-law Margaret MacNevin; his siblings, Cyrus (Heather) of Ottawa, George (Bev) of Kensington, Rachel Jean Matheson of Charlottetown and Andrew (Carolyn) of Warren Grove; and his grandchildren, Rylan, Alexa, Bria, Sebastian, Reid, Jonah, Simon, Thomas, Hudson, Joelle, Patrick, Mylene, Anna, Olivia, Jacob and Lucy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
