He was predeceased by: his parents, Colin MacDougall and Nelsena MacDougall (Buchanan). He is survived by: his children, Joshua MacDougall (Candace), Jordan MacDougall, Andrew MacDougall (Renay) and Elizabeth MacDougall; his siblings, Leona MacLure, Wayne MacDougall (Liette), Shirley MacNaughton (Bruce) and Vincent MacDougall (Marina); and his grandchildren, Scarlette, Jesse, Londyn, Atticus, Aurora and Ariel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choosing.
