With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Winnifred (Coyle) Rice (Cardigan, Prince Edward Island), born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on November 26, 2019 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Rice; her parents, Katherine Murphy and Frank Coyle; and her siblings, Noreen Connolly (Mike), Bernice MacKenzie (Dan), Cyril Coyle and Terrance Coyle (Jacqueline).
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Dunn (Chris), Lawrence, Francis, Marian Grant (Dan), Theresa Kerwin (Darryl), Kevin (Gweneth), Michael (Shirley) and Katherine MacDonald (Robert); her sister Helen Docherty (Willard); her siblings-in-law, Norbert Rice (Eileen), Ruth MacDonald and Mary Kennedy; her grandchildren, Kara, Alastair, Patrick, Tyler, Elizabeth, Bradley, Jamie, Alice, Ellen, Andrew, Kyle, Arielle, Christian, Alexander, Breanna, Nathaniel, Melissa, Curtis, Danielle and Morganne; and her great grandchildren, Tovie, Owen, Elsie, Lennox, Tessa, Allie, Hayden, Ellie, Solomon, Lucy, Kristopher, Nicholas and Felicity.
