He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shepard and Florence Shepard (Fougere); his daughter Lorrie Ann Shepard; his granddaughter Melina Shepard; his siblings, Marie Shepard and Jimmy Shepard; his parents-in-law, Phyllis and Bill Llewellyn; and his brother-in-law Roy Peardon.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene Somers (Brian) and Greg Shepard (Leeanne); his siblings, Shirley Peardon, Stella Phelan (Reggie), George Shepard (Rya), Rosanne Shepard, Dan Shepard (Cindy) and Billy Shepard (Aura Lee); his grandchildren, Amy Garrett (Chad), Keegan Somers (Kori), Austin Bernardino, Connor Shepard, Pat Higgins and Braydon Henderson; and his siblings-in-law, Glen Llewellyn (Gertie), Blair Acorn (late Debbie), Cyril Cashin (late Donna) and Roxanne Llewellyn (late Garry). He is also survived by his great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
