It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph MacIntyre of Cardigan, Prince Edward Island, born in Montague, Prince Edward Island, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard MacIntyre and Bernadette MacIntyre (Campbell); his brother Dwayne; his father-in-law Donald Shaw (Hannah); and his brothers-in-law, Boyd Shaw and Leslie Drake.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen MacIntyre (Shaw); his sons, Daniel MacIntyre (Amie), Jason MacIntyre (Lindsay Palmer) and Brian MacIntyre (Charley); his siblings, Arlene Rice and Jimmy MacIntyre; his siblings-in-law, Erica MacIntyre, Gloria Shaw, Dorothy Drake and Blair Shaw (Sherrell); and his grandchildren, Kaleb, Keagan, Kenzie, Felix and Cole. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
