He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Bell and Annie Florence Bell (Compton); and his siblings, Lorne, Keith, Angus, Doris and Audrey.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Bell (Acorn); his sons, Billy Bell (Amanda) and Tommy Matheson (Mairi); his grandchildren, Abigayle, Neely and Quinn; and his siblings-in-law, Jennie MacLean, Laura Compton, Ella Langley, Millie MacLean, Louis Acorn and Alfie Acorn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
